Abstract The incidence of perimesencephalic subarachnoid hemorrhage (PMSAH) is rare, 0.5 in 100,000 adults. It comprises 5 to 10% all SAHs and approximately 33% nonaneurysmal SAH. Quadrigeminal SAH a variant (PMNASAH) that not well described the literature. may comprise up one-fifth PMNASAH cases carries similar benign prognosis. This PMSAH characterized by blood centered quadrigeminal cistern limited superior vermian posterior cisterns.
